TSA Permitted and Prohibited Items List

The TSA has recently modified its policies and procedures allowing passengers to bring toiletries along with their carry-on baggage. As per the new regulations; passengers are permitted to carry on 3.4 ounce (100ml) in a single, quart-size, zip-top, clear plastic bag. Passengers cannot use any other bag such as gallon size or a fold-over sandwich bag. For security purposes, each passenger carrying a toiletry kit should have it scanned at the security check conveyor belt separately. The Transportation Security Administration (TSA) has mentioned a list of items that can be carried in a carry-on and checked baggage.

All food items should pass through the X-ray machine. Every food item should be wrapped and unpeeled; natural food items being an exception. Beverages purchased in the secured boarding area can be brought onboard. No restriction on the amount of baby formula, breast milk, and medicines. But, they should be declared at the checkpoint.
